Mickayla Carr

 

Dancer, Oklahoma City Ballet

 

Master Ballet Teacher at Ballet Center of Fort Worth Summer Intensive 

 

Mickayla Carr, from Fort Worth, Texas, trained with Marina Goshko and also at Ballet Frontier of Texas with Chung-Lin and Enrica Tseng. She attended the Oklahoma City Ballet Summer Intensive in 2016 and was offered an apprenticeship with the company. She was an Apprentice for the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2018.

Carr’s repertoire with Oklahoma City Ballet includes Robert Mills’ The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and The Means to Fly. She has also performed in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Septime Webre’s ALICE (in wonderland), Agnes de Mille’s Rodeo, and August Bournonville’s La Sylphide.
