Augusta Vining

Pilates Instructor

Augusta Vining was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She fell in love with dance at the age of three and began training seriously at New Ballet Ensemble & School (or NBE) under the direction of Katie Smythe in 2012. 

 

Outside of her time at NBE, Ms. Vining trained at A&A Ballet, the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, American Ballet Theater, Orsolina 28 in Moncalvo, Italy, Sarasota Ballet, and the Oklahoma City Ballet. Ms. Vining was awarded scholarships and attended Texas Christian University’s classical ballet program under the direction of Elizabeth Gillaspy. 

 

Most recently, Augusta graduated from the English National Ballet School’s Young Artist Development Programme in London under the direction of Viviana Durante and Ibrahim Onal. 

 

Ms. Vining joined Ballet Frontier as an apprentice in 2024 and was promoted to the company in 2o26. Whilst with the company, some of her favorite roles include Little Swans in Swan Lake, Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, and Prayer in Coppélia. Alongside dancing at Ballet Frontier, Ms. Vining is also training to be a classical Pilates instructor, enjoys watetcoloring, and loves the city of Fort Worth. 

 

Augusta is absolutely delighted to be dancing with Ballet Frontier for a third season!
