Spring Recital, May 27th & 28th, 2016

Pre-Ballet 3 Showcase, May 21st

Ballet Center showcases the work of the students at the end of the year with the Spring Recitals. The performances take place May 27 & 28th at the Truett Auditorium (click for map) located at the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Our pre-ballet 3 class will have a special Showcase on May 21st at the studio and family members will be invited to attend. Read below for important information and opportunities. Remember, there is no pressure to purchase extra things, but we want you to have the options to make memories as you see fit!

Important Recital Information

• Recital packets are here! Stop by the front desk for your copy for dates, schedules, what to bring and more. Dowload your extra copy here. 

• Costumes are in!  Watch the front desk to see if your dancer's costume has arrived. Each year, our students also perform a demonstration dance in their class uniform.  Please check that your student has the correct attire for class day. This will insure your student is also prepared for recital. 

• Tickets for the recital on sale now. Though we strive to have the dancers perform in one perfomance, sometimes this is not possible becuase of the days a dancer attends different classes, or because of siblings. We do offer multi-show pass options: One-show Pass $10 per person, two-show pass $16, three-show Pass $24. Tickets are only available at the studio (in person or by phone) and will NOT be sold at the theater on recital weekend. 

• Chaperons are needed. We are so thankful for our parents who volunteer to help make our recital so wonderful each year. Remember, because of space, only chaperons can stay in the dressing rooms with the dancers on rehearsal and recital times. • Beautiful Rose Bouquets: Delight the dancer(s) in your life with a stunning bouquet. Pre-ordered rose boquets will be available for pick-up in the lobby of the theater on the day of your dancer’s performance, before each show and during intermission. Last-minute bouquets will also be available for purchase during each performance as supplies last. All procedes benefit Ballet Frontier, our resident non-profit dance company. Photo Shoot and Recital Photography

• Recital Costume photo shoot is back per request of many parents and students. This filled up fast last year, so sign up here for your slot soon. Learn more here.

• Professional photos of your dancer's big moment on recital day are a cherished keepsake.  For safety reasons, we do not allow flash photography during the performance, but we will sell quality digital or print photos of the recital available after the show.
