Madeline Wichmer

Dance Faculty

​

Madeline Wichmer was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri, where she trained at Saint Louis Ballet School and Dance Center of Kirkwood. Madeline later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Missouri-Kansas City’s Conservatory under the direction of Paula Weber, Ronald Tice, DeeAnna Hiett, Michael Blake, David Justin, Tempe Ostergren, and Gary Abbott. While at the Conservatory, Madeline had the opportunity to dance Helena in David Justin’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, performed Les Sylphides, danced on national television in Michael Blake’s “Love Awaits”, performed the Pas De Deux in David Justin’s “Make Our Garden Grow”, and danced in the premier of Jae Man Joo’s newest work “Between Sky and Water”. Madeline also has danced professionally at Kansas City Ballet in Devon Carney’s “The Nutcracker”, and at Saint Louis Ballet in Gen Horiuchi’s “Cinderella”. Madeline received additional training at summer intensives through Kansas City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, A&A Ballet, and the Big Muddy Dance Company. This is Madeline’s first season with Ballet Frontier.

Ms. Wichmer is excited to teach the Jazz class on Wednesday at Ballet Center of Fort Worth.
